Write a brief that creates clarity
A creative brief is a shared starting point. It should explain the problem and the boundaries while leaving room for a creator’s perspective.
Start with the outcome
Describe what the audience should notice, understand or do. Give context about the brand, the product and the people you want to reach.
Specify the output
Record content type, aspect ratio, resolution, duration, quantity, language and file format. Distinguish a final export from editable source files.
Make practical decisions
Set your actual budget and delivery deadline. Agree revision rounds, review turnaround and who supplies reference assets.
Define intended usage
Record distribution channels, territory, duration, attribution and any exclusivity request. Tool terms and third-party permissions need separate review.
